The Morass depicts the figure of a woman embedded in a clothlike texture and spiraling stainless steel rods. Her figure is only partially complete. It represents the lack of visibility and repression many women feel, as well as their own inner turmoil as they fight for self-determination and equal rights. I ask the question, are women seen as objects or humans?
This is a unique bronze and stainless casting, only one will be produced.
